Once fully healed, can I get back into CrossFit or boxing after rhinoplasty?

Outcomes and side effects vary from person to person. Bleeding, infection, swelling and asymmetry may occur. Please consult our medical team before making a decision.

A

Yes, with just a touch of extra caution — once Dr. Kim has confirmed full structural healing from your nose job, high-intensity training like CrossFit is entirely fine, since general exertion doesn't put the surgical result at risk at all.

Boxing and other sports that involve direct contact to the face can also be resumed, but it's worth talking to Dr. Kim about wearing proper protective gear, such as a well-fitted headguard, going forward. That's a sensible long-term habit, not something required specifically because you've had rhinoplasty.

Consultation Tip

Build back up to full-contact training gradually rather than diving straight back into sparring on day one of clearance.
