KOWON SAFETY SYSTEM

Safety System

No surgical result matters until the patient's safety is assured. We keep the equipment that monitors your condition and the systems that handle emergencies — and we run them by the book.

Equipment for safety

Chemical sterilisation of instruments

Every instrument used in surgery and procedures goes through a chemical sterilisation process.

High-pressure steam sterilisation

A high-temperature, high-pressure autoclave sterilises instruments through to the inside, lowering infection risk.

EO gas sterilisation

Precision instruments that cannot take heat are handled separately with ethylene oxide gas sterilisation.

Intra-operative monitoring

From the first incision through recovery, ECG, oxygen saturation and other vitals are tracked in real time.

Backup power system (UPS)

An uninterruptible power supply and backup generator mean surgery does not stop, even in a power failure.

AED & oxygen support

A defibrillator and oxygen support are kept on hand at all times for an immediate emergency response.

Protocol matters more than equipment

01

Two operations a day, no more

The next case begins only after we have confirmed the previous patient has fully recovered. We do not plan punishing schedules — we keep to the set one so that no patient is short-changed.

02

CCTV in the operating room

The procedure is recorded openly. We believe an environment patients and their families can trust is where safety begins.

03

Dedicated staff monitoring

From the start of surgery until full recovery, dedicated staff check the patient's condition with redundant layers of monitoring, in a system where even a small error is unacceptable.

04

Regular emergency drills

For the emergencies that can still occur, we run regular training so that every member of staff stays prepared.
