Hello. This is Hyung-taek Kim, director of KOWON Plastic Surgery.
In this case, the nasal bridge was generally low and the nose appeared small, resulting in a lack of facial dimension and a more flat impression.
When considering rhinoplasty for a low nasal bridge like this, it is important not to focus solely on raising the nasal bridge, but to create a feminine and natural contour that harmonizes with the entire face.
The nasal bridge was appropriately augmented so that the height would not stand out excessively, and the line from the forehead to the nasal tip was carefully refined to connect smoothly.
The nasal tip was also delicately refined to avoid a blunt or stuffy appearance, resulting in an overall light and flexible impression.
"The key is not just to emphasize the height of the nose, but to bring out the harmony of the curve connecting the nasal bridge and the nasal tip."

In particular, we focused on naturally adjusting the curve of the line from the nasal bridge to the nasal tip, so that the nose would not appear excessively high or large, while creating a natural yet defined nasal line with delicate contours.
Additionally, we examined the columella, nasolabial angle, and the area leading to the philtrum to achieve balance. Through this, we aimed to enhance the three-dimensionality of the midface and create a softer yet more sophisticated overall facial impression.
"Low nasal bridge rhinoplasty may yield natural results only when not just the change in height but also the three-dimensionality of the facial center and the overall impression are considered together."
[Other Cases Worth Viewing]
In this case performed at KOWON Plastic Surgery, the nasal dorsum was low, the nasal tip was blunt, and from the side, the nose appeared long.

During the surgery, both the low nasal bridge and the shape of the nasal tip were considered together to raise the nasal tip, refine the contour, and correct the depressor septi nasi muscle, to adjust the position of the nasal tip. This allowed for a natural improvement in the balance of the alar base, which previously appeared flared as the nasal tip was elevated.
After surgery, the blunt appearance of the nasal tip was reduced from the front, and from the side, the facial dimension was enhanced, resulting in a more lively impression. As such, low nasal bridge rhinoplasty requires comprehensive consideration not only of the nasal bridge but also the height and position of the nasal tip and the balance of the alar base.
[Key Points in This Case]
The key in this case was to enhance the height of the low nasal bridge while also considering the nasal tip, columella, and nasolabial angle to bring out the three-dimensionality of the facial center.
If only the nasal bridge is raised, the connection with the nasal tip may become awkward or the overall proportions may not match, so it is necessary to comprehensively consider the curve from the forehead to the nasal tip and the appearance from both the front and side.
In particular, to create a feminine and natural yet defined nasal line, it is important to carefully adjust not just the height but also the curvature of the nasal bridge, the height and angle of the nasal tip. By also considering the balance of the columella, nasolabial angle, and the area around the philtrum, not only the contour of the nose but also the overall facial impression may be refined more softly.

At KOWON Plastic Surgery, we plan the surgical approach by examining each individual's nasal length and size, nasal tip shape, and facial proportions. For low nasal bridge rhinoplasty as well, it is important to set the appropriate height and line according to each person's characteristics and desired image, rather than simply increasing the height.
"Natural rhinoplasty is not about making the nose unconditionally high and prominent, but about finding a balance where the nasal bridge and nasal tip harmonize and suit the overall face."
Ultimately, the important thing is not to focus only on changes in a specific area, but to enhance the three-dimensionality of the nose based on the harmony of the entire face. Planning a nose with a delicate line that stands out without being overly prominent is the aspect I want to emphasize in this case.
