The natural yet defined line transformation at KOWON Plastic Surgery, completed through dorsal hump correction and nasal tip binding procedures

Published

Hello. This is Hyung-taek Kim, director of KOWON Plastic Surgery.

When you visited our clinic this time, there was a slight dorsal hump on the nasal bridge, making the line appear somewhat uneven, and since the entire nose had thickness and the nasal tip drooped downward, the overall impression tended to be gloomy and strongly masculine.

Additionally, since the midface lacked some definition, the line flowing from the forehead through the nose to the mouth did not flow smoothly and appeared rather flat.

"Dorsal hump treatment does not simply end with smoothing the protruding bone, but the key is to delicately balance the overall contour that extends from the forehead to around the mouth."

Therefore, we neatly refined the protruding bone to smooth out the nasal bridge, and by slightly raising the direction of the previously drooping nasal tip and performing nasal tip binding, we lightened the characteristically heavy and thick appearance.

In particular, while naturally refining the height of the nasal bridge that appeared especially prominent due to the dorsal hump, we also performed forehead fat grafting, paying attention so that the line from the forehead, through the glabella, to the nasal tip would connect more smoothly.

To create a slim and sophisticated nose shape, we applied the nasal tip binding technique,
and for sunken areas, we performed fat grafting in parallel to naturally enhance the overall facial definition.

At the same time, we decided to perform fat grafting on the nasolabial folds, which appeared deep, so that the previously sunken midface would gain volume, resulting in a more three-dimensional overall contour.

Thanks to refining the overall flow from the forehead to the nose and mouth, a more feminine and sophisticated natural yet defined line was achieved.

If you look at the postoperative appearance, you can see that the nose, which previously seemed buried and stuffy, is now much more open, and the characteristically thick and dull image has disappeared, resulting in a much prettier and more sophisticated look.

[Related Reference Case]

This was a person who was concerned because their overall impression appeared older and gloomy due to an excessively long and downward-drooping nasal bridge and nasal tip.

In this case, simply raising the nasal bridge was not enough, so it was essential to precisely correct the structure of the drooping nasal tip.

In particular, to ensure that the nasal tip would not droop downward again when smiling or making facial expressions, we added stability by performing nasal tip binding together. Additionally, to adjust the overall line and width of the nose, we carefully performed nasal tip binding once more to create a sharper impression.

These meticulous procedures were performed at KOWON Plastic Surgery, resulting in the unnecessarily elongated line being smoothly improved into a more defined and sophisticated shape, naturally transforming into a more youthful and radiant appearance.

[A Word from the Director]

"By thoroughly analyzing each individual's different bone structure and facial features, our goal at KOWON Plastic Surgery is to create a three-dimensional and natural line that perfectly matches the overall facial balance."

As in this case, if the dorsal hump is neatly refined and the line is shaped through a detailed nasal tip binding process, the previously dull impression of the nose may instantly become more sophisticated and defined.

At our clinic, based on extensive clinical experience and abundant know-how, we take full responsibility for everything from 1:1 customized design to meticulous surgery, so rather than worrying alone, we recommend that you feel free to consult with us at any time.
