The nasal bones are reshaped through a technique called osteotomy — controlled, precisely planned fractures made with fine surgical instruments, allowing Dr. Kim to move the bone inward, remove excess width, or correct asymmetry, then reposition it into a new, more refined alignment.

This is a highly controlled process — very different from a random break — with the location and angle of each cut carefully planned in advance based on your specific bone structure and the shape you and Dr. Kim have agreed on.
