Will fixing a deviated septum change the outside appearance of my nose?

Not necessarily — septoplasty, the purely functional correction of a deviated septum, is designed specifically to leave the external appearance of your nose unchanged, since it works entirely within the internal structure.

That said, if your septum deviation is significant enough that it's visibly affecting your external nose shape — such as contributing to a crooked appearance — correcting it as part of a combined septorhinoplasty will naturally involve some visible change, since straightening the internal structure is directly connected to straightening the external line in these cases.
