Every surgical plan is built individually, starting from your 3D CT scan, in-person skin evaluation, and the specific goals discussed during consultation — there's no standard template applied across patients.
This shows up in practical decisions throughout your plan — whether you need bone work or cartilage only, how much augmentation material is required and from where, whether your nasolabial angle needs deliberate adjustment, and how your specific skin thickness affects technique choice. Each of these is decided based on your individual anatomy, not a fixed protocol.
This customization extends to the augmentation material itself. Where appropriate, both our silicone implants and our proprietary Ribfit material (made from finely processed autologous rib cartilage particles) can be custom-fabricated specifically for your nasal structure, rather than shaped from a generic pre-made piece during surgery. The trade-off is time — a custom-made implant takes longer to fabricate than a standard one, so if this option fits your case, your coordinator will help you plan a slightly longer lead time between your consultation and surgery date to accommodate it.
Consultation Tip
If a custom-fabricated implant is right for your case, mention your travel plans early so your coordinator can build the extra fabrication time into your schedule from the start, rather than adjusting it later.
