How does the clinic handle complications after I've returned home?

Outcomes and side effects vary from person to person. Bleeding, infection, swelling and asymmetry may occur. Please consult our medical team before making a decision.

For anything that feels like a true medical emergency — severe pain, uncontrolled bleeding, difficulty breathing — go to your local emergency room immediately, and message your coordinator on WhatsApp once you're safely being cared for so we can provide your surgical details to the treating team.

For non-urgent concerns, message us on WhatsApp directly — Dr. Kim reviews these messages and provides guidance, whether that's reassurance, a recommendation to see a local doctor, or a suggestion to schedule a video follow-up for a closer look. We stay engaged with your care throughout your entire recovery, not just during your time in Korea.

Consultation Tip

Save our WhatsApp contact somewhere easy to find before you leave Korea, and don't hesitate to reach out for anything that concerns you — even if it turns out to be a normal part of healing, it's always better to ask.

What follows is general guidance. The actual cause and surgical approach are decided only after an internal examination, a CT scan and a review of your previous surgical history.
